Negative temperatures and the arrival of the first snowfall quickly transformed this short fall season into winter.
It's time to take stock of the weather!
At the top of the area (upper station of the Mont-Dore cable car), visibility has been very reduced for a few days.
On November 8, it is difficult to distinguish the arrival of the plateau ski lift. The panoramic terrace of the mountain restaurant "Le Pic du Sancy" is completely covered in snow, you can even see stalactites!
In addition, you will notice that no pebbles / rocks are visible on the images, suggesting that this first layer of snow is relatively thick.
At the bottom of the domain the visibility is better and the layer seems less thick. This observation is usual due to the altitude of the different sectors analysed.
